How does bringing on , as panelists, Luke Russert (widely viewed as a legacy hire) and Joe Scarborough (who rose to fame as a House Impeachment manager) accomplish your stated goal for MTP "to reduce Americans' cynicism toward politics and politicians?"

What was the last issue of any significance that McCain didn't interject himself into, co-opt, and jump before a camera, assuming a leadership position on? And why is so much weight given to Administrations opposition? Will bookers/hosts only accept POTUS or top officials, or they get nothing?

Hi Chuck. Serious question: Do, or will any of your new regular panelists have any sort of specific influence or even veto over other guests/topics? Some have well known feuds with, say, Nobel Prize winning economists, etc.

Totally agree abt his smarts and prep, and I am hopeful abt him in the job. I still think it's the Achilles heel of most DC press that they play to each other more, and work in service of their consensus narrative than to journalism, or listen to honest criticism from their audience
