We've had massive problems with refs at university level. Worst case was when our ref abandoned our match at 55 minutes to ref the mens match that was going on on the pitch next to us because their ref hurt his leg. We're the women's 1sts and they were the men's 3rds. His reasoning was "men's rugby always takes precedence over women's rugby."
We were winning and had to replay the match at a later date because of he didn't continue to the 60 minute mark where we could've claimed a win. Wanker.
