Were there any podcasters or journalist you were inspired by to start this? Cause theres many times I've noticed you use a few techniques my fav podcasters use in their interviews.

If a person in a state of psychosis keeps refusing to be sent to a psych-ward, whats the best course of action if not trying to get them their against their will??

A friend asked for help. They've been off their meds, newly evicted, and in-and-out of multiple psych-wards within a month. Their family put them their and refuse to help after checking themself out before they needed to. Unfortunately I learn all of this after picking them up and talking to them at my place, where I slowly realize my friend has no intention to leave, though being told I can't host.

Calling a crisis response team were no help. I were recommended calling the police if they wont leave. I asked if anyone from the response team would assist the officer but unfortunately not. Were uncomfortable calling the cops, we're both black, and this situation seemed it could go south if police got involved. After pleading they go to the hospital I drove them to where they requested, the airport...

Should've I got them to a hospital or left it to the police?
