Bunâ, I'm from Bistrița and my grandma, 85 now, went through many of the same things you are talking about. Very familiar stories. Just wanted to say, give your grandma an extra hug for me, as I am an expatriate and miss mine dearly.

that's amazing. for some reason your answers sounded so familiar I had a feeling you'd say something like that.. my grandma was born in Ilva Mică! i grew up in Bistrița but have lots of family in and fond memories of Nepos! I wonder if our grandmas know each other.. will PM you
