Southwest invented the low cost carrier model. RyanAir took it to extremes.

I never knew the seatbelt sign went on when the pilot leaves the cockpit. I'll have to watch next time I fly.

After JetBlue dropped the practice it is the only US carrier left

and the movie didn't live up to the book. it would have been pretty much impossible.
