Horse Armor DLC: Real Life Edition

What does quitting your job mean to you? For some, "quitting their job" means basically nothing because they are in stable living situations (spouse, parents, etc) that means little risk. On the other end of the spectrum, quitting a job means your serious lifestyle changes to make it work.

I just watched your TED talk and I have to say you all are working on some very inspiring things! Thanks for doing the AMA.

Being someone who grew up near DC, I just wanted to say that the dinosaurs in the Smithsonian were some of the most awe-inspiring things of my childhood. I too wanted to be a paleontologist from the age of six, but for my case I ended up becoming a computer scientist instead.

I plan on taking my kids (when I have them) to the Smithsonian as often as I can, so I just wanted to say thanks for being a part of something that provides such inspiration and fun.

I've heard (including through programs on NPR) that donating to charities in Africa isn't always helpful--in many cases it just goes to support corruption or drugs. In your opinion, how can a concerned non-African help with the poverty and hunger situation in Africa?
