to both - was the end of Apes 1968 a shock/surprise to you or did you have it spoiled before you first saw the movie?

its great you guys saw it unspoiled. unfortunately for me Beneath was the first Apes movie i saw so i never got that shock surprise when i eventually saw Apes68...

of course nowadays its on the dvd covers etc and its in the pop culture anyway. at the time though it mustve been mindblowing as you say Michael..esp since timetravel wasn't the norm like it is now
