The Kumari Devi I think is the name of her title. We went on a tour in 2011 and went to see her. Our tour huide warned us it would make us sad. It did. She was sitting in a tiny room receiving offerings. I felt sad that she could not play with other kids.

OP, what are your thoughts on Kumari and are attitudes changing about her?

The people I met in Nepal would literally give you the shirt off your back.

Have the temples been rebuilt? I heard Bhaktapur was heavily impacted and it broke my heart.
