Can you give some clarification as to why over the past 10 years that the number of unique artists has declined nearly 20%?

edit: fixed redundancy in the question

This doesn't really answer the question. Why tighten it up? Clearly the diversity is what drew people to th current. Not the perpetual playing of doom tree, trampled by turtles, and Jeremy messer smith. I go months without hearing anything jazz related, Coltrane, Davis, Mingus, etc. no old blues.

When my mother died a few years ago, we were pressed and pressed to always make the upgrade. A better urn for her ashes, a better this, a better that. Why do funeral directors take the worst time in a person's life to try and 'upsell' them? We took the cheapest route we could and still had to pay what I thought was way too much. No disrespect to her, but these were her wishes, because she was so fouled when her parents died. Me too, as a result have given my wife instructions as follows:

  • No funeral- spend the money that you would have on that, go to a restaurant witha great whiskey selection and cater a meal for our closest friends and family.
  • Burn my shit up!!!!!. Take it in the plastic bag its given in. Dump it on thier lawn on the way out.

Easy peasy.

Given that caveat, what's the difference between entertainment and companionship? They seem like variants of the same thing.

I'll say that I do have a lot of pets. A Dog, Three cats and I just started a reef aquarium. All my animals were bred domestically and will have nor will ever know the wild world. They do entertain me at the same time they provide companionship.

For me this would be Animals taken from the wild should not be kept period. No zoos, no sea worlds none of that. Spend the money on preservation of the animals and their habitats.

Love the work you've done, specifically the work on Curb You're Enthusiasm.

What scene was the most difficult to keep it straight while shooting?

My thought is the one with the car periscope. That shit was hysterical.
