Thank you very much for sharing your experience during the war and answering questions about it! I was wondering if your experiences during WWII had any negative or positive impact on your religious beliefs. If it did impact your religious beliefs, how specifically did they change? As time has past, have you re-adopted any pre-war beliefs?

Thank you for your response! I recently wrote my capstone over the religious reactions of holocaust survivors. I was curious how your experiences as a member of the British army impacted you in comparison to Jews located in Central Europe during World War II.

Hello, sir! I recently read a book on the history of marijuana prohibition in Mexico during the 19th and 20th centuries. The author (Isaac Campos) argued that the idea of prohibiting marijuana originated in Mexico and flowed north into the United States; overall, the author attempted to reframe the term “America” by including Mexico into the definition.

  1. How do you feel about the idea that Mexico originated the War on Drugs? What steps do you want to take moving forward to correct some of the steps taken by the War on Drugs in the United States?

  2. Do you feel like Mexico is apart of the general “America” term? Do you feel like including Mexico in that definition would help ease racial tensions in “America”?
