:When I was a young and dumb teenager me and a few friends were joyriding in my moms car. I lost control and rolled the car, my best friend, who wasn't wearing a seat belt was lucky to have survived. She spent her 15th birthday and a few months afterwards in the hospital and was wheelchair bound for a year after that. She is fine now, just has limited movement in her left arm and left leg... anyway I STILL feel terrible when I think about it. I can only imagine how this girls' friend feels. :/

Honestly, after 12 years I have never thought about it that way. Sometimes (very rarely) she'll say something in jest about it... she can't raise her arm completelyup and if she needs to reach something she might say "Well, I could if it weren't for bettyepallmall!" And we laugh it off, still feels kind of shitty. Next time I'll just say "Well, you should've worn your seat belt!" We're still best friends, she'll just laugh it off. :)

I remember your previous AMA, glad things are going well for you. You posted body pics in the last one, any new ones?

This doesn't really prove that OP is lying, just that a picture has been used on multiple websites... none of which give a story behind the picture that contradicts OP's. Granted, I only visited about 4 or 5 of the sites...but I didn't see any damning evidence.

I'm extremely excited to hear about this book and will be purchasing one the moment it's available. My kids have so many questions about evolution that I can kind of answer, but I always wonder if my explanation really makes sense to them. We've watched documentaries, and there was a neat show on Netflix a while back called something like When monsters roamed the earth (or something to that effect) about life before dinosaurs and the series started off when life was only in the seas. My kids were mesmerized by it. It was great. No question, really, just wanted to say this is exciting!
