Phil, I wanted to say ‘thank you’ to you. You provided a family I was very close with once with the most appropriate closure on their father’s death. While I am not close to the family anymore unfortunately, I was able to witness their closure on a tv program that you created-No Opportunity Wasted. So many tears were shed, many smiles were unleashed and many laughs were had watching that program. It provided me with my own closure and an immense feeling of relief and gratitude towards you. (I hope I wasn’t too vague about who I am talking about.)

I still have that episode on my DVR and am unwilling to delete it. It indeed was an opportunity that did not go un-wasted.

But, because my mom is a massive Amazing Race fan and keeps telling me that my sister and I should try out, what was the funniest thing you’ve ever seen happen on Amazing Race?

Congrats on your win! Did the players have full time jobs as well? What was the age-range of the team?

This is sort of a reverse Jay DeMerit story. He did a lot of fundraising to release his movie as well.

Thomas Rongen from American Samoa beat Tonga for the first time in nearly 20 years. Y'all should talk!

Btw, you should tweet Grant Wahl (US soccer primo-journalist) about this. And Ives Galarcep.

Huge, huge fan here from Chicago. Already bought my tickets to see you (again, again) in March.

Currently streaming the new album and super stoked for it already. Loving Lo-Fantasy.

Questions for you:

a. How has your approach to your music changed as you've gotten older?

b. What place have you not played yet that you really want to play?

c. Favorite places to eat in Chicago while you're here?

d. What was the silliest fight you ever had between bandmates while on the road?

I've had a chance to work with the guys/gals in the truck. I'm always amazed how fast you guys can build graphics, and get information up on the screen so fast when something out of the ordinary happens. Plus I love hearing the director/producer curse all the time (the ones I've worked with are not prim and proper folks). It's definitely not for the light-hearted.

Besides doing all the set up, what else do you or the rest of the team prepare for? Is there a team meeting a day or two before the game? If there is, what is discussed?

Are you ever involved in the production meetings between the media relations people from the teams, the producers/directors, and the announcers? Who has the most control? I've always wondered if it's the announcers who drive the "story", or the behind the scenes guys/gals, or a more collaborative effort.

Has a camera guy ever forgot his camera number?
