I really fail to understand why people are down voting the very reasonable well thought out responses that you've been giving. Most energy drinks give a massive caffeine hit, consuming many of these to mind is not a good thing. Especially with the associated sugar.

How does the long supply chain and the resultant shelf life of food in north America effect the quality of food as compared to the shorter food supply chain in some European countries.

In short, would a regional rather than national food distribution system be preferable over such a large geographic area?
