Can we agree that HOAs are borderline criminal and find a way to (preferably) get rid of or set reasonable guidelines for them?

Fees, harassment letters, rules for parking on public streets, vandalizing property with stickers, not allowing company vehicles in driveways because its advertising, sueing for dues after turning the house over to the banks, trying to increase dues because others arent paying, trying to tack on other peoples late payments when buying a new home, people who work in the associations not following the rules or being fined... they're mini-mafias tied to your home.
