Hello, Thanks for doing this AMA, here I go, 4 questions so feel free to pick:

  • Do you have a specific team dedicated to the buzzfeed stuff (repackaging/surfing on trends such as best Jon Stewart funniest moments, etc) and another one doing the real original content, or is everybody doing a bit of everything? How do you balance between the two

  • One of the major specific attractions of Vox is to try to bring context in a condensed, attractive form (cards for instance). Is it still a bet for the future or has it already translated in statistical success? (I don’t see many other sites pointing to the cards, for instance, that should be a goal I guess)

  • After one year, do you still consider Chorus the main reason you can do better things more efficiently? Compared to having less “older journalists” around, for instance? Also, will a commercial version come this year?

  • What is your personal take on having no comments, and about reader interaction? Are you satisfied with the current situation and why?

Edit: changed caps to italics, was a bit violent.

Obviously being European implies a much greater chance of being debt free

This is is the real key, although debt habits are slowly picking up in certain parts of Europe. Most young people don't have debts in Europe, and a couple years work will net you the 10k you need on the side to take a year off - providing you go to cheap destinations such as Asia, Africa or South America.

Are you aware of The Economist debate section? Wouldn't something like that make sense? (less complex maybe!)
