Are eyeglasses so expensive because most designer brands are manufactured by those 2 Italian eyewear manufacturers? Other than minimizing extreme computer use (already a given), what's a pro-tip for taking care of my eyes when I have to wear my glasses and sit in front of a laptop screen for 8-9h on weekdays?
