I was in a very familiar situation as you.
In 2nd grade I stole 3 - 3 packs of GooseBump books from the book fair and kept them concealed in my closet for 4 days when eventually my (officer) Dad caught me. I had to apologize to the school, and he "processed" me in the local jail where I sat in a holding cell for 6 hours while he brought inmates in to sit with me. Really changed me life. We are basically like Eskimo brothers of the book theft world.
In the case of your story, though very similar to mine, when did you have your "oh shit" moment when you knew you were going down? Did you feel like you were in a theft movie? Did you realize the consequence of your crimes when you decided to do it?
Thank you in advance. I always enjoy seeing my peers come out the other side more positive and learning from their experiences.

Yeah the other day at work, Sharon was all like I finished these reports, and when she handed them to me, they were all fucked up and had to re-do them myself, so I feel your pain

This might sound like a really dumb question, but since you could talk, and recently became fully deaf, can you I guess hear yourself speak, or have better control at pronouncing syllables? I am sure over time that the 'sharpness' of words may go away?
