Is there a big difference between living in the basin of LA vs on some of the hills? I heard that the basin can 'move' more due to liquefaction but the hills/mountains that run throughout and all over LA can better weather it because house foundations are anchored to the rock. Any truth to that?
Also, how to best/most economically deal with this as a homeowner?
