70 40.... Hmmm....

Something doesn't add up...

I've seen you live a couple times, but recently I have noticed you refuse (or choose not to) play your older material. Why is this? When I saw you at Coachella 2010 you straight murdered it, busting out old school jams. It was incredible. I have seen you 4 times since then and to be honest Joel... It's been disappointing.

I know you are a well-versed individual and you surely must know that most of your fans prefer this older material. I would kill someone to hear you throw down classics like Jaded, Arguru or Not Exactly. Why don't you ever play them?

Secondly, what happened between you and Rusko? All I've heard is what he posted on twitter. I understand that was over a year ago but it would still be interesting to know.

Lastly, do you always perform sober? Do you or have you ever taken any psychadelics/mdma/whatever to increase your creativity?

Rene! I have two questions for you.

First, I have a lunch reservation this Saturday at Noma. To say I am excited would be the understatement of the century. My question - what can I do beforehand to maximize my experience? I am looking forward to seeing how my meal at Noma compares to some of my favorites around the world, notably at Alinea in Chicago and Narisawa in Tokyo.

Next, I think the work being done at Loco'l is phenomenal. I'm originally from California, and have lived very close to the Loco'l locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I've also done some inner-city work, and the lack of available nutritious food is astounding: fast food for every meal (and the children are lucky to have 1-2 meals a day). I absolutely love the idea, it's similar to what Whole Foods is doing in Englewood (south-side neighborhood in Chicago) and some local communities. My question to you - how much of this project is about bringing proper meals and nutrition to inner cities, or is it just creating jobs with useful skill sets?
