I am a survivor in that my dad killed himself when I was a teen then my first husband killed himself.

It's a legacy I fight daily to no recreate - for my childrens sake.

Have you received a lot of support and interest from your country's government?

And put half in your mouth and half up your butt and meet in the middle?

I'm not qualified..... but I broke up with my ex husband who was doing the same thing.

Your outcome may be different from mine, but you CANNOT stay with someone to stop them self harming. You cannot sacrifice your happiness/ sanity for theirs.

I left and yes he did follow through. When he was threatening to do it; me and our mutual friends would rush over there to intervene. Eventually he followed through. It was a shit of a time, but ..... I truly cannot endorse someone staying with someone just to stop it happening - because it really doesn't guarantee they won't do it anyway. It's controlling and manipulative behaviour.

Put some services in place with MH care workers/ police/ hospitals/ relatives and walk away.

No wonder there isn't an Aussie version.
