I'm betting on the twist erase III in the .9 mm lead.

Ahhh... Are you a drafter by any chance? I've heard much about these from people that draw more than write with them. Not saying it must be so but curious if it was true. I like the super slim line from .5 but found them very brittle for my purposes. I have two things going against me for slim leads. I have an exceptionally heavy hand and I'm a lefty. I found through three years of trying almost every pencil (mech or woody) I could to see what gave me not only comfort but fewer breaks while writing, no breaking lead in the reservoir from drops (nothing worse than reloading a half inch piece of lead right), and long life from each piece of lead. For me and writing for math purposes the .9 twisty was hands down a clear winner. But I did see many mechs along the way that were sweet in their own regards and I do appreciate the fine writing line that .5 offers.

In retrospect I think my favorite part of the twisty part may have been how it so nicely mimicked a real wooden pencil. Thank you for making me think so deeply about the writing instrument I've now worked with running on 4 years lol.
