I love this answer because it turns conventional wisdom on its head. Hipster logic would have us believe old equals good, but it turns out human beings are learning and building some newer things better than the old.

I can see the plausibility of this explanation. It was the sharks, not the cats.

As someone who just lost $20k due to someone committing mail fraud against me, I am super pissed that all involved in the case--lawyers, cops, and prosecutor--all tell me this "mook" will just get probation and have to pay me back $30 a month for years and years. Sometimes a harsher penalty IS warranted.

Man, that sounds really high if a lot of meals cost $1 each. Is the majority spent on fuel?
