Got any experience with Shetland Sheepdogs? I had a sheltie for 13 years and thinking of taking on another one, so I'm curious if you got any input about them? :) (I got no special needs, I just love the breed)

I'm actually in the same position, our sheltie passing away was absolutely horrible and I sometimes catch myself thinking of that I should go out with the dog (I was the one in the family that took her out most of the time). She was an amazing dog, she wasn't that hyper actually, she was incredible gentle and calm. And I also feel like I'd compare a new dog to my old one, but I'm thinking of getting a male this time instead, maybe that will be different enough :)

A Mini-Sheltie? But they are already so small! :O
