I recently found a copy of the 2005 edition of Lockpick Pornography going for $350 (It's the only of your books that I don't own, so I'm always looking around). Is that shitty because you're not the seller or awesome because your work has appreciated to that level or something else entirely?
I also wanted to say, I've been a huge fan for many, many years now. You are one of my favorite authors, and I've never read anything by you that I didn't absolutely love.

I'm so happy to hear you're working on a new novel. Yours always make me feel like my face was bashed in by a storm of kittens. in a wonderful way obviously

Okay, I get that part of it, but why would drugs induce these new senses? I'm not anti-drugs overall (very pro- marijuana legalization, haven't done enough research into hallucinogens to have an opinion), but it seems like wishful thinking. Or maybe searching for meaning where there isn't one beyond our brains are fucking wacky.
You can't take something and make a blind person see, deaf person hear, etc. You can enhance existing senses with glasses or hearing aids, but if it's gone, it's gone. If we're missing the bits that make it possible to perceive more, then how would drugs change that fact?
