Is there are day coming when buying/subscribing to Planet imagery and services will be open to the small business and individual consultant? (Last time I enquired the minimum purchase was $10k USD.)

Thanks for taking the time to answer Will. Unfortunately I'm not a member of any of these institutions so I guess for the foreseeable future I'd best not hold on to this set of project dreams. I'm still inspired by what Planet is doing and building, just sad to be on the outside.

I wonder how hard it would be to assemble a collection of small orgs/people that could join as if they were a single entity? What is the yearly cost for a big org to subscribe for, say, the monthly basemap? That would give a number for the tip over point, `for $$$ need X members at $/year`

(as someone else asked, why are the prices buried and so hard to find out anyway?)
