well Superman was the embodiment of what Jews were trying to do at the time. Which was to assimilate into the culture (Clark Kent), and in doing so, help in anyway move that society towards a better future (Superman). In Judaism this is embodied in Tikkun Olam a spiritual phrase meant to remind oneself that you are here to repair the world

Global food trade is destroying regional and local farms. The US is already having issues in terms of keeping jobs, is there any way that we can fight big agro and bring back food parity and antitrust legislation in order to bring jobs back to rural farmers and regain land in order to produce crops for locals? Or will the GMA, Walmart and other big agros continue to fight and dissolution people into believing they can provide the cheapest and most efficient food?
