Hey Mike, thanks so much for doing this AMA. I live in Arizona and heard on the news this morning that a bill just passed, and is now on the Governor's desk, that would take away legal protections for farm animals. What can my family and I do about this (just as regular people - don't have a lot of connections) and is this happening elsewhere or is it just cuz lawmakers here in AZ can sometimes be a little terrible for animal welfare?

I think it was answered... He said "HSUS provides more direct care for animals than any other animal welfare charity in the country" and provided a link.

In addition to providing the most direct care, HSUS also does the most to change laws and do investigations.

I called back and pressed 1 to directly talk to someone. They were nice.

Mr. Balcombe, what are some of the most interesting stories or anecdotes you've learned about fish in your research? They're kind of an unknown animal to most of us (myself included), so curious to hear.
