Of course, but what happened to the jews was the culmination of thousands of years of oppression, and the Germans sought to effectuate the 'final solution'. When one country attempts to exterminate a whole race (for lack of a better term) of people, and then systematically implements that plan with callous disregard for anything resembling humanity, it tends to warrant a lot of discussion, to say the least

Wow. Not a diabolical plot? First, have you seen the movie 'Conspiracy'? And if you point out the obvious fact that its a movie to rebut its content, thats telling enough about the validity of any rebuttal you may have.
As for the rest of it, I guess there will always be someone trying to justify what happened with nonsense. How else can you live with it

Well I called it. Somebody had to point to the fact that Conspiracy is a movie and now we're debating the historical accuracy of the movie. If your argument is that there was never any overarching plan that was conceived between many individuals who thrived in the Third Reich to exterminate the jews, I think its safe to say that that issues has been put to rest - or did you want to join Ahmadinejad for his "conference".
As for the guy who claims to be a scholar on 1930's German socio-economic relationships, I clearly know more about this than you and apologize for growing up in New York and gaining a more global perspective on the world. Its that kind of insular, arrogant and self-delusional thinking that led to Germany's collapse and defeat in the first place. You guys have another shot now, try not to blow it... again.

What did your parents say to you to justify treating Jews like they were less than human?
