Hi Nick! Question for all, should we be testing weapons again to inform our numerical models and overall Verification and validation of those models? What are the drawbacks and pros? Thanks!

Will you be participating in PDC, and if so, will the asteroid be allowed to ‘strike’ the earth or be successfully deflected?

Any idea of how to better constrain the surprisingly low density (thus low gravity) of the rubble pile asteroids and how that will affect methods to deflect them?

Finally, what are your favorite methods of deflection? I’m partial to a kinetic impactor!
