Especially in a school that size, I read it was something like 3,000 people? That’s insane.
I went to a comparatively tiny jr high / high school with 100 kids in my graduating class. When some of my classmates died it was absolutely devastating - because even if you didn’t like the person you definitely knew them, after being stuck together for seven years.
With nearly a thousand kids in a class I can imagine there are classmates you’ve never even spoken to before.

Thanks, just found that every single one of my comments in 2 different subs has been marked as removed, which explains why I never get responses on them.
Do you know how to fix this?

Oh my god I can actually answer this. I met him a few years ago at the TCAs and got to talk to him for about a half an hour.
He told me he was hungover, and fumbled the name. David Simon thought it worked, so they kept it. He said they were almost never allowed to ad-lib, and the McNutty thing is one of only a few examples where something made the final cut.

No questions, but thanks. I'd be lost without you.
