What was the most routine altering symptom of your cancer/treatment? What most prevented you from living a ‘normal’ life?

Hi! Thank you so much for your ethics in business, you do great work! If you don’t mind me asking a tough question, but I did research on the ethics of fair trade coffee in my undergrad and I’m curious.

Fair trade is awesome because it pays farmers much higher than local rates for high quality products, but sometimes this causes a huge gap between the newly stable fair trade farmers and the ‘rest’ who struggle to keep up when fair trade farmers have help to build a better and more sustainable product, and are usually not the poorest farmers to begin with because they can purchase fair trade quality production equipment. The premium is created in response to that, and I’m so happy to hear you’re using it! How are you ensuring that the community around your farmers is also being supported (by the premium or otherwise)?

Honestly just never got the chance to speak to someone running a fair trade company and would love to hear your perspective. Ps your coffee looks AMAZING, I’m sad I’m an ocean away from the UK!
