Thank you so much! I was afraid I'd missed my chance at an answer. My wife has been doing all of the research so far, and I think she's already bemoaned what will be our lack of 4wd, as she's noticed that a lot of the best stuff is that way. I'll pass on to her everything else that you mentioned, though, and we're going to do our best to stay hydrated, alive, and having fun!

Do you have any experience with Death Valley National Park? If so, do you have any advice or suggestions? We're headed there at the end of the month. Thanks!
