One significant challenge faced by forest conservation is governmental opposition- the unwillingness of governments to do anything to actually solve the crisis. Is there any way that governments can be incentivised to prioritise environmental conservation over economic growth?
Lots of people I know are still skeptical about the devastating effects of these forest fires on the environment. What would you say to convince climate change denialists that these impacts are real?
