Do you have a favorite song or musician at the moment?

Do you believe the media presence in some regards gives rise to protests and the like? Do you think the presence of a big spotlight gives certain incentives for people to act in ways they otherwise would not? I've been giving this thought as I 've watched coverage throughout the past couple weeks.

Hi Tom, I would counter and say that reaching number one today has more power to launch an artist into other successful endeavors, but the point is that reaching number one 20 or 30 years ago was itself the destination of arriving to success. So perhaps the charts now are more of a starting point rather than a culmination as before.
