What, if anything, can be done about the lack of journalistic integrity in the most popular "news" shows, such as those on Fox News and MSNBC, which present such a partisan view of current events as to be entertainment?

How can the public be educated to discern the difference between "news entertainment" and bona fide journalism?

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I haven't seen anywhere in this thread that OP has asked for financial aid from anyone. His homelessness and unemployment is a fact, but all he's asked for is emotional support. That's free on reddit.

What advice do you guys have for other secular groups wanting to start a Skepticon-type annual event? I'm with a certain Little Rock, Arkansas group, so I'm thinking particularly about Reason in the Rock, and how to make it GREAT. If we can make as much of a splash as Skepticon, I'll be thrilled!
