I saw a Vice documentary once about people in China literally advertising themselves/family members for marriage in parks/events. They assess each other based on age, attractiveness, work, money, etc.

Pretty depressing tbh.

I'm curious, what happen to those you've found? Like when they want to go back to where they came from but no one wants them back (like in the instance you've mentioned), do you set them up so they can live on their own back where they came from or what?
