Yeah, I don’t get the skepticism. I mean you and your crew could do literally anything else and be much more successful by conventional standards. I decided that over 40 years ago I wasn’t willing to eat beans out of a can and sleep in my car for my art. Totally at peace with that. Now I have a little studio of my own and working towards releasing an EP of my own. Too much to explain now. But pretty much every great musician I’ve ever met has also been a really nice person as well. I’ll point to Eric Gale as an example. I saw him just before Covid hit, and he had a line of a couple hundred people lining up to shake his hand afterward. I hung tight at the very back of the line and watched him give a lot of attention to a kid in a wheelchair, signed his guitar and took pics with him. Actually brought tears to this old dog’s eyes. It meant something to that young person. I mean, you could do literally anything else in life but you and your people choose to do this. The least you’re owed is acceptance. Good luck. Keep making music that makes people feel something.

Take another look. You might be surprised what you can do in your case. Strongly encourage it. Obamacare is designed for people to obtain healthcare when they cannot otherwise afford it

It sounds to me like it’s really simple. It’s about engagement. It’s the ONLY thing. If you don’t engage people on social, on the email list, and live, it’s going to be wasted labor. You don’t even have to respond to every comment or email response!
Rooting for ya
