Isn't financial burden a huge factor? If one party makes all the money and controlls the money, it's nearly impossible for the other person to leave.

Like I said, it depends on what vpn you choose. If you find a reputable one that doesn’t log, then go for it. I don’t care about the potential legal liability because isps don’t care about any individual person anyways. Plus, the most isps are unethical anyways. If your traffic was truly encrypted, they wouldn’t see what you’re doing, so it doesn’t really matter if they’re shady. All they can do is spill logs, which your isp would know about regardless.

I feel like a lot of therapy is just actively participating in mass delusion. Don't get me wrong, delusion is a very powerful and often useful psychological mechanism. There's a reason why it exists and was evolved over millions of years in our brains. It's a mechanism for survival. I just think actively participating in it while you're trying to give solid medical advice is unethical.

Depends on the vpn, but would you rather have all your traffic sent to your isp unencrypted?
