This part baffles me. Even given that there is a shortage of women in China, why on Earth would you want to be "married" to someone who despises you, someone whom you need to lock up or threaten to keep them around? That's not a marriage, and I feel like it would only serve to make the man feel even more lonely and shitty that his wife hates him. Wouldn't it be better to just be single?

In a previous comment, it was mentioned that the corporate line was that they took abuse seriously and the mistreatment of animals was entirely the fault of the manager doing it; that corporate obviously didn't do anything to fix it, but they like to pretend like they would.

So, why have an NDA at all if you "don't abuse animals"?

(I don't expect you to know the minds of the higher ups, just pointing out the mind numbing hypocrisy)

Yeah, I find the fact that one guy failed to blow up a plane almost 20 years ago by hiding a bomb in his shoe a really weak reason to have the "remove your shoes" policy

What do you think about the environmental impacts, especially the fracking process? Denton, TX, has banned it, as well as New York, and no place would give up the kind of money that industry brings in without very good reason. Do you worry about water quality and long term effects, or to you, do the benefits outweigh the risks?

I work on the customer service side of insurance, and the policy applies to polite and rude alike. If a thing is covered, it's covered, if it's not, it's not.

But I'm sure as hell a lot more likely to ask for an exception, or for a thing to be expedited, or gather supporting evidence for why we should in fact cover this claim, if someone is being nice than if they are screaming at me about things beyond my control.
