It took my dads doctors an equal amount of time to get him a cat scan. He had been constipated for over a month and they kept telling him to take more laxatives. Turns out he had stage 4 colon cancer. We need to get to a point where the costs of running important tests don't influence their usage :(

Not sure how that could happen...cancer occurs when genes within cells mutate in a way that the "brakes" to growth are removed. The mRNA is just telling them to make a protein (which is literally their job) for a few days (I'm guessing because I don't know the half life but something like that, mrna is pretty unstable) before it degrades. Nothing in the genome is changing

Not sure which study you are referencing. Your body makes mRNA all the time. It is also quite unstable. Not sure why having some more around for a brief time would cause your body to start attacking itself.
