hey, I'm a bouncer too, in Southern WV. I once asked a guy to leave for being trying to get people to fight... it turns out it was his girlfriends birthday... while walking him to the door she was yelling at him for fucking up her birthday, so he decided he was staying and pulled his pocket knife out. His girlfriend pulled her pepper spray and COVERED his face. Then proceeded to hit/kick him...

I just stood back and watched for a bit before grabbing her up and throwing her out, then him. I'm not sure what happened to them after that....

What's the funniest thing you've seen while working?

I feel you man. The other day a buddy of mine had this chick hitting on him.. one he didn't even want to go home with.... She was moderately attractive, but he just wasn't into it.

Well, it turns out she's married, and her fat annoying femenist friend decided it's HIS fault she's trying to cheat on her husband and starts yelling at him.

I step over (I'm a bouncer as well) to find out what she's (they're all three regulars where I work) yelling about. Then I can't help but chuckle. He sees me behind the fat chick laughing and starts laughing, which just made her more mad.

Luckily "Shut the fuck up and stay away from each other" took care of it.

The bar I work at is $3 domestic beers, $4 imports, $3 well shots, $4 call shots (jim/jack, etc) and add $1 for adding coke/sprite/juice.
