I was sorry to have missed your appearance at Cinefamily in LA for Dragonslayer, will you be coming back? Also, what are your thoughts on the new Star Wars and shooting on film and reports of using some more practical FX ?

Thanks! And thank you for providing so many memories and great characters that were there for me during my awkward teen years in an alcoholic family when I was younger. What you and other artists do matters to people more than a lot of people think, and provide a fantasy world that makes a lot of life easier to cope with. Star Wars, Willow, movies like that were a big part of shaping my life. So thanks, as an artist, I know we don't get a lot of praise, or at least could always use more.

One more question, what can we all do to help support for a VFX union? I've been a motion graphics artist several years but never had a union opportunity or health care. The whole starving artist label is only cute in college, but does become less cute getting older now, wish artists were more valued and supported, it can be disheartening
