Hello! I know it must have been a tough decision to make, an ex girlfriend had reduction done and it wasnt easy for her to decide. Have you noticed any lack of sensitivity? When her procedure was done her doctor suggested (after the healing was done) frequent massaging to keep blood flow up. I was more than happy to help with that lol. Another thing i noticed is that whrn the doctor went in to remove tissue they made a small cut under the armpit and went in that way. Was that an option for you or did something prevent that method of approach?

Yes i think so because afterward her areolas (sp?) Were slightly misshapen. I can imagine that cold weather must be painful lol. Do you have a s.o.? If so how did they feel about the procedure? At first i was hesitant but she had back problems as well and i agreed (eventually) that it was best for her.

I pray for your strength and speedy recovery. I had a minor scare with a benign tumour recently, I could only imagine how you must feel. You are one tough cookie, keep fighting, don't lose hope.

Questions:

I'm sure there were black days you considered giving up and taking drastic measures to end the pain, what kept you going?

What helped you feel normal in the hospital setting? I know that can be dehumanizing at times, you can feel almost like a lab animal.

Finally, did they give you a wheel barrow for your monstrous brass balls, or did you have to supply your own?

I've started reading "the hero with a thousand faces" by Joseph Campbell, I got pretty lost about half way through and decided to start over, in order to have a better comprehension. Is it worth finishing?
