Have you ever got down and dirty with customers or is that banned for employees?

Was the pay good? Or mostly tips that got you by?

I bought a hp pavilion a couple years ago and the disk drive won't work anymore, well it has popped up a few times, So I know it works. I've tried downloading the driver again, didn't work. If I call them up, what would they do for me?
