I'm confused.

First, how do you know that someone had insider information and wasn't just lucky, especially given that some investors have been betting on Tesla declining for some time now.

Second, are you blaming Consumer Reports for the actions of others? How is CR supposed to stop others from breaking the law, if in fact, that is what happened?

Finally, why do you care if someone did in fact trade Tesla on insider information?

I always laugh at CR's Wrangler reviews because they are always spot on for the average driver and average CR reader.

There are plenty of review sites out there for track performance, off road performance, etc. I appreciate that CR is reviewing on road performance, reliability, and safety. Keep doing what you are doing.

How do companies prevent employees from performing an inside job?

2 questions:

  1. What is the best car you've ever personally driven and why?
  2. Please list the cars you've owned.

Thanks.
