Similar situation here, but nursery costs drop sharply in year 3 when partially government-funded early learning/childcare kicks (at least in Scotland, I assume elsewhere in the UK but not 100%). And then, obviously, it drops further when they hit school at 5.
I guess the £10k figure is an average across childhood (some stages being cheaper than others), and across a range of personal circumstances and regional cost variations.

I dunno, everyone always forgets the episode Space all the way back in S1. I would say that might just outbad First Person Shooter, which is saying a lot. It's about 50% stock footage, and Mulder and Scully are just there, they don't do anything, hah! It's a pretty close call though, it doesn't quite have the ridiculousness of FPS, it's just... nothing.

I would imagine any product or item that has been obviously fucked with in any way would be a no-no for getting through security.

If you've ever seen the original 70s Dawn of the Dead. That's mostly set in a JC Penney. Not American so not super familiar, but yeah, looks like a department store, maybe a slightly more down-market version of Debenhams or John Lewis.

I wonder if the reason you so rarely get people fighting back is because the scenarios are so extreme that the only people who would sign up are submissives and masochists. Like, it self-selects for the most dedicatedly passive participants by its very reputation, maybe?
I'd be screaming and windmilling my fists like no tomorrow 😂
