Do you need the injections throughout the pregnancy or only at the beginning?

How about some program whereby we make intellectual property regarding green technology freely available to all countries and companies? It could come from a combination of existing federal research programs and buying existing patents and releasing them into public domain, perhaps.

I don't think a moral argument is going to work in the slightest, and not in the US either. (Unless you are able to make it the latest fashion craze among consumers.) What you need is for it to be the more profitable way. So go for solar power, hydrogen cars, electric cars, etc. Removing subsidies for things like fossil fuel, the meat industry, and ethanol would be good too, of course.

China will only act to increase its own profits, I think. They couldn't care less about the environment or the morality of the issue. They'll strip away the natural resources and rape the planet for a quick buck. It seems to be something deep-rooted in their philosophy and culture. I think the only way to persuade them is with technologies that are both profitable and environmentally friendly. (Sorry to get worked up over it, but if you disagree I invite you to come to China to persuade me in person.)

Aside, I have to say, air pollution in the US looks like a non-issue to me from where I'm standing. Well, I mean, I can't see very far...
