Also of note. This is a very gross over generalization but ophthalmologist generally get very little or no training on vision therapy and see it as a pseudoscience. (fyi, it has well documented benefits) If anything, they'd be more inclined to do surgery than to do vision therapy. If you're interested in gaining binocular vision, having an exam with an optometrist (especially one that does VT or is COVD) or ophthalmologist who specializes in strabismus surgery will probably be more fruitful.

Sounds like he is talking about intractable diplopia, which is less common but of real concern for anyone who is undergoing anti suppression.

Dr. Tran, do you guys have any data on improvement with this device for amblyopes that have already undergone occlusion therapy?
