This game was so much fun in my early teen/youth years.

Kick ass. Or as in the Air Force, be shit hot. Know the air frame, understand the allowable variances. Volunteer to go to Red flags (in Vegas). Don't mess up and be in the upper 25% of your coworkers. You'll get one eventually. When you get to test up, study hard and do exceptional, you'll almost guarantee an incentive flight and more opportunities.

I cover that area for work, and try to swing by the campus when I'm in town. Was at the arena last year during an orientation for new students it seemed. Love how the facility is typically open for visitors to explore. The Joyce center is that was as well. Great school top to bottom. All the campus staff that I've interacted with have been very kind. Thanks for continuing that trend.

That's Hydrazine. It's like an adrenalin shot for F16's. When the electrical power or hydraulic pressure gets below a certain level the pilot can manually trigger it's "injection" or it can be triggered automatically. The pin is for after the aircraft has been grounded after landing, the EOR (End of Runway) will disarm it by replacing the pin.

Not something to mess with. Can burn you up in a matter if seconds due to its chemical reactions with organic compounds and low ignition temperatures. Also it's highly caustic.

This happens more often with larger aircraft where you can fit an entire crew on it. F16's typically fly to their destination and the crew goes TDY or deployed via other forms of transportation.
