Reminds me of the "Lisa Lionheart" episode of The Simpsons where Lisa is trying to do the voice overs for the doll, fretting over every word. Krusty walks in, commandeers the mic, does his 6 sayings and walks out 20 seconds later.

When I was about 6 or 7 I noticed a scar on my dad's belly right at the belt line. When I asked him about it he told me about how he got stuck by bayonet over running a German foxhole in WW2 on DDay. He said really didn't want to talk much about it When I was about 16 I asked my mom why dad never talked about his scar and being in WW2.

"WW2? What are you talking about? Your dad got that from a metal table at work. You're dad was 6 when the war ended. Just how old do you think we are?"
